Scorpion EXO Covert FX Adult Motorcycle Helmet

The Creators of the original bad-ass Covert Motorcycle Helmet have now developed a full-face version, the Covert FX! The Covert FX displays the same edgy style and function expected from the ScorpionEXO Covert Series. Equipped with U.S. DOT Certification and the ECE 22.06 Safety standard, which requires a wider range of testing than the previous 22.05 certification, the Covert FX is a stylish and functional motorcycle helmet that is perfect for both city commutes or long-distance touring.

The helmet's shell is constructed using extremely lightweight TCT-Ultra Composite materials, providing superior strength and impact dispersal properties. The CAD-refined aerodynamics result in a streamlined profile and balanced footprint, minimizing lift and turbulence for a smoother, quieter, and more stable ride. Advanced multi-layer EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam provides superior energy absorption.

In terms of comfort, the Covert FX features an aero-tuned ventilation system with a large intake vent on top, forcing cool air in while exhaust vents maximize the movement of hot air out of the helmet. The dual-position mouth vent allows the first position to act as a defroster, and the second position acts as a defroster and ventilation (closeable from the inside). The KwikWick C moisture-wicking liner fabric keeps the rider cool and dry in warm weather, and warm in cool weather. The KwikFit 3D sculpted cheek pads accommodate most eyeglasses.

For vision, the Covert FX comes with a FREE additional Dark Smoke Everclear fog-free shield. Scorpion EXO's shield ratchet system pulls the shield securely against the eye port, ensuring a proper seal. The EverClear shield offers state-of-the-art fog-free technology and 95% UV-A & UV-B protection, with a shatter-resistant, anti-scratch hardened coating.

The Covert FX is also versatile, with comm-ready speaker pockets allowing for easy installation of a favorite Bluetooth communication system. The tool-less shield removal system and optional thinner and thicker cheek pads (sold separately) help optimize the fit. Reflective material is incorporated into the cheek pads for increased night-time visibility, and a solid neoprene aero skirt (chin curtain) is included to help reduce wind noise.

In terms of specifications, the Covert FX weighs ± 1,348 grams / 2.9 lbs. (size medium) and has a 50mm/5mm (round) speaker pocket size. It features a 2-shell, 3-individual EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam design, and the liner kit is easily removable and washable. The helmet comes with a 5-year warranty and is DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified and ECE 22.06 Certified.
